1. I do love these and I know I didn't write them. So it's not your fault the writer misuses a phrase so badly it made me mad. It was the story where a person was selling the old fashioned radio on craigslist. The biker comes over to the house TO BUY THE RADIO but the author says that as soon as the guy got in the house, she offered him a snack but "oddly enough" he started to immediately check out the radio. That's the whole reason the guy is there, remember, author?? Maybe you want to bake him a cake or have a sleepover first before you get to the only reason this stranger is at your home. "Oddly enough" is a phrase to indicate something is surprising or unexpected. Just what was unexpected that he went to immediately conducting the business at hand instead of eating the snack you offered. What KIND of snack did you offer? Is snack a metaphor? If not then he acted EXACTLY AS EXPECTED and you need to read some books to understand language better.
   Author saying "oddly enough" completely incorrect made me angry because I kept rewinding to see what cleverness I missed, I forgot at the very beginning the writer thought they had to give us several steps between "less hours at work" for us to understand WHY they were short on the rent.

4. Jesus, the narrator for the story with the girl and guy at the gas station is just awful! He clicks so loud when the word ends with D or T…. so fucking annoying
