Rescued moon bear Breeze’s first bath

Rescued moon bear Breeze's first bath
Spread The Viralist

Moon bear Breeze was rescued by Animals Asia from a bile farm earlier this year. He’d spent around 20 years trapped in a tiny, dark cage so his bile could be extracted and sold for traditional medicine.

At our sanctuary, Breeze spent some time in quarantine where our vets checked his health and our bear care team worked with him every day to build his confidence, trust, and strength.

He moved to his forever home recently, a den full of toys, structures and enrichment items.

🐻 Check out the live stream of Breeze moving to his forever home on our channel! 🐻

Breeze will take some time to get used to his new surroundings before he goes outside for the first time, but in the meantime his carers are helping him settle in… and this includes lots of water therapy!

Enjoy this five-minute clip of Breeze losing himself with absolute joy as he takes his first ever bath… and shower!

  1. I may sound naive but I was unaware that Bear Bile Farms still existed in Vietnam. What you are doing is fanominal, heartwarming and truly an Humanitarian effort. Your Bears are such characters. Breeze appears to be having tons of fun & also appears to be 1 of the lesser emotionally compromised residents. This 1st bath is hysterical! Appreciation from Chicago 💜

  2. What a sweet Heart❣❣ This is what living in the present moment means. May Breeze have decades of such joy. Bless him and all his bear brothers and sisters. 🙏

  3. Wonderful. Just out of interest, is the warm water or cold? Is she being cooled down by it? Next time weld up the bath with slopping edges like a human one, so it can be more comfortable. She's clearly loving it.

  4. Oh my gosh! He is so excited! So happy! It's wonderful to see! I feel a bit sorry for him though. It seems that his bathtub just isn't quite big enough for him! Well, not as big as he'd like it to be anyway. lol 💖❤💖

  5. What utter joy! What amazing recovery from decades of torture. What wonderful, heartfelt care from yourselves, thank you all ❤
