  1. Shelters in the US are overflowing as well. We now have MANY cities and States with large homeless dog populations. Many people who adopted are dumping their animals in Shelters and that does not account for the strays that are now dumped or roaming in the US. Inflation in the US is not represented in official numbers at all and It will get worse. It is heartbreaking and that does not even account for the abused animals. I am so grateful for people like you who run animal shelters for the abandoned and abused. We have good people in the US as well who are taking in an ever increasing number many times from "official shelters" saving animals from being euthanized. The problem is becoming bigger because of irresponsible owners who do not spay and neuter and also profiting from litters not caring about the homeless. Bless you and others. A huge problem in the US is veterinary costs are way out of the budgets for most. You would not believe how expensive the slightest veterinary visit is. It literally costs hundreds of dollars for a visit. I and many others can no longer afford to get care for our own animals. I am not exaggerating. God Bless those who can help and those who can provide shelters for these innocent victims of crumbling western societies.

  15. Any support anyone can give Takis will be gratefully received as the costs of running the shelter are enormous + vets fees. If you are thinking of having either a dog or cat please adopt from the shelter don’t buy.
    From my experience animals from shelters make wonderful companions.❤

I have been a patreon of the shelter for a while now..l cannot adopt or volunteer so this is the only way l can help this wonderful man continue to save lives and show these special animals what real love and life is like..l do live on a tight budget like a lot of you do..but l ask you to consider becoming a patreon too..just €10 a month..that's 2.50 a week..if all his subscribers did €10 just think what Takis could do..every little bit adds up..10 people give €10 is €100.. yes l know times are hard..but you saw how much the bill was..and Takis has nearly 500 dogs to feed..some on special food which is more expensive..then you add the drugs they need and operations..Takis also pays for dogs and cats to be neutered to try and stop all the pups and kittens being born then abandoned..its very easy to start..just click on the blue writing below the video it will only take a few minutes..its very secure and you get notified every month when it is due to be taken from your account..also please remember that it ALL goes to the shelter.. 100% ..also Takis owns absolutely nothing..it is a Non profit charity which is independently audited every Yr.. The land..House and all the building is in the name of the animals and NOTHING is in Takis' name..just in case there are people out there that think he 'does well' with the donations..you see how hard he works..so sorry to have gone on for so long..but Takis and the workers can only continue is with donations..Thank you..

  35. For the health of everyone’s pets. Please read the book “Food Pets Die” For by Ann N. Martin. Don't use the recipes in the back though because they are not balanced. Also, look up Susan Thixton. Dogs and cats can live much longer than what you think is long. Kibble/dry food keeps animals alive but the animal is not thriving. It creates degenerative diseases (diabetes, arthritis, atherosclerosis, osteoporosis, cancer, kidney and declining cognitive function and more) that show up later and owners put it down to old age. Feeding kibble, a highly processed food, puts your pets in a state of constant inflammation. Please educate yourself and don't be brain-washed by big commercial food companies and Big Pharma that fund vet schools. Kibble is dead food with no living enzymes. It is not human grade food. You need to feed your animals human grade food. Kibble is made from euthanized animals including your pets, from diseased and slaughtered animals from road kills and they even add feces and a lot worse stuff. There have been many recalls regarding pentobarbital (the drug used for euthanizing pets) found in commercial pet food. Big pet food companies lace the kibble with addictive stuff such as fats and more, to MAKE your animals eat the garbage, otherwise pets would not eat the stuff. Take control of your pets’ lives and your own because food companies do it to people too. PLEASE FEED YOUR PETS A SPECIES APPROPRIATE DIET, which mimics what dogs and cats eat in the wild. If you do not know what this is, please research and educate yourselves then pass on the information to other people. You can start with Dr. Karen Becker DVM regarding raw feeding for pets. Never stop educating yourselves in regards to proper nutrition for your pets. Remember, cats are obligate carnivores.
