I just realized that all of these bikers involved in accidents are riding cafe racers. Most of us that ride cruisers or dress bikes don’t ride crazy like those riding race bikes!! They take too many riding fast chances in traffic!!
On approaching crosswalks, SLOW DOWN. Like in this case if the driver had been going slower, he might’ve been able to avoid hitting the kid that ran into the crosswalk. This kid could’ve easily been killed and it would’ve been his fault, but the driver has to live with this accident for the rest of their life!! Always expect kids to do the u expected, because they will!!!!

I know what it feels like to be hit by a car because last year on march 15th I got hit very hard by a car going 50 mph and as soon as I got hit I instantly blacked out and then woke up like 20 feet away in a 711 parking lot rolling around in agony with the fire department yelling at me to be still then I blacked out again and then woke up in ER absolutely terrified, blacked out again and then woke up for surgery and I had seven broken ribs, broken ankle, broken eye, socket, broken nose, so I understand and I know the terror of being hit by and let me tell you how severe the pain is with broken ribs
i live close to one of these and gotta say, i always feel extra cautious around the 26 westgate exit. so many lanes, so much speed coming on from a slow merge. caution strengthened!!!
