1. Boy do I regret not buying more of this set

2. This is the strongest Masters set, no doubt. I actually got a box a few months ago, and it was a really bad box, unfortunately. I already have a complete set, so this was just for shits. It definitely hurt, though.

    I Started playing in Madness/wake Times.
    Did nothing Else in affinity, tooth and Nails time, to Ghazi Glare / Gifts ungiven.

    Always Had the cards for all Standard & extended Decks and was pretty compettetive.

    Then i stopped playing.

    Years later i met with the Gang for drafts.
    Shortly after we Had a Standard Grande Prix nearby. Just Had to borrow 3-4 Playsets of some Angels and loxodons to Go with my temple Gardens and llanowar Elves to have GW Deck, i day 2ed with.

    Some time later i felt Like playing again. Fuck me, but i remamber having the thought to get Back in the Game.

    Went to the Boys.
    I was looking at Them testing their Standard Decks.
    While playing, the one Buddy summerizes the Situation Something Like :

    "OK to get Back going you Need Jace the mindfucker. He is Like 500€. But you Need 4. Then you Need this Card at 250€ a playset and that for around the Same.
    So for Just as little as 8000€, you should be able to get 2-3 Standard Decks and be ready to Go. If you are willing to sell some Organs, you could even consider getting into Modern"

    For this Kind of Money id rather buy a european soccer Team and let Play against the Teams owned by some near east Royals who make their money in oil.

    But on the other hand it feels Like every Card that used to be worth Something dropped to 20 Cent due to Reprints.

11. Rudy started the MTG revolution and WotC didn’t like how much he lit the secondary market up, and someone at
    Wizards decide they wanted to destroy Rudy; despite the amount of money Rudy drove their way!
    And in trying to destroy Rudy, they destroyed the soul of their product, and they destroyed the roots of the MTG fan base, and with a cynical cash grab!
    They made millions!
    But, they killed the golden goose.
    And the perverse thing about WotCs new model.
    Collector Boxes are more common than normal product, so they are effectively worth less!
    Foils outnumber non-foils for some cards.
    It’s a sh** show for the future collectability of the MTG and I just won’t touch any new products, unless there I really like the aesthetic of the set (like Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty – but even that was Kamigawa in name only, and paid no homage to the original).
    As long as the money comes in, WotC don’t care, but if they had a full brain amongst them, they could be making so much more, and preserving their market.
    Also, is anyone going to mention the great ‘Legends’ scam of Dominaria United?
    Where did all the big cards go?
    I’ve seen ‘one’ single top Legends card pulled on YouTube! And I am extremely suspicious that that was a seeded pack, to make it look like it wasn’t a massive scam.
    I feel a fool for the new magic products I did buy.
    I really wish I’d bought vintage.

12. I like the fact that he adores the printing of it but here in Europe we have the even better printing from Belgium. Nice to see Double Masters again. Prices here in Europe are € 350 for such a box. That is around 380 dollars.
