Lol… 1st off, asteroid isn't passing through our/an atmosphere, so it wouldn't be burning & leaving a smoke trail; if trailing anything, it would most likely be a mixture of dirt/dust, gasses from trapped pockets of ice & such, which would only appear as result of sunlight reflection, & otherwise NOT dissipate quite as quickly! 2nd, since when did the speed of sound & light become almost equal? AND!! when the (portrayed) sound did actually hit Earth, it would have been Much deeper, & shook the Earth, as if flatulence directly from God's ass, as if Earth was wedged between his butt cheeks at the moment of release!

27. Nice effects. Slow down the ring and give about 3 minutes from the time it "hits the atmosphere". It won't be a short… Maybe 15-20 minute event. Unless you do a "Video fast forward effect" until that point.
