19. I know it is because of the circumstances but it is a tragedy that the dog didn't get back with his owner. That dog may have been the only true emotional tie for the owner, especially if the guy was on the streets. It was probably devastating emotionally that he didn't get his dog back and the dog would have been happy to see him.

25. He had spent so many years guarding his person in the streets, and that can be pretty dangerous. I'm glad he gets to live out the rest of his life in safety and peace. What a nice ending.

31. The poor thing is still broken, it's just not obvious. Hopefully he has an uneventful rest of his life and no one gets hurt.

33. Bless you for giving him time and love and not giving up. I too fostered a reactive dog, eventually adopting him. Though Snoopy loves every animal that he sees (he has daily smooching sessions with wild deer and is in love with the Great Dane across the road), he still has issues with most people. But I adore him and he adores me and so we'll take care of each other.

35. What a world we live in – we can rescue dogs but humans are left out on the streets. It's a really bittersweet story! I feel for the original owner who couldn't have the dog back because even after treatment they were homeless 😟
