  1. Bruce Lee once said, "Be water, my friend." It's a simple phrase, but it captures his whole philosophy. Water can flow, or it can crash. In life, being like water means adapting to any situation, overcoming obstacles with grace, and never losing the essence of who you are. Despite facing racism and injury, Lee's resilience and dedication to martial arts not only broke barriers but also transformed him into a global icon. His legacy teaches us that with enough perseverance, we can shape our path and flow past any challenge life throws at us.

  2. From a standing position, the one inch punch was/is indeed one of the most unique kinetic forces of energy, introduced by Bruce Lee. Putting the whole body behind the punch, takes a lot of practice. We may understand the principles and physics behind it. And probably, learn how to apply the technique, but we will never get it the same as Bruce did. I think it's something to do with the breathing at the moment of impact. Lee Jun-fan was one of a kind.🙏 Thank you, TD

  3. Bruce lee was not a great fighter, he was not even a good fighter. why? because he was never truly tested. ive never even seen a sparring match. everything he did was scripted. perhaps you could say he was a kata master.

  4. I just learned something from this my father was a big fan so wanted to call me bruce my mother didn't really like the name so they opted to call me lee turns out his actual name is lee so my dad kinda got what he wanted in the end.. cool 👍🏻

  5. Martial arts movie stars who were professional fighters (fought in the ring) in real life: Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme.

Martial arts movie stars who were NEVER professional fighters: Bruce Lee, Steven Seagal, Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, Michael Jai White, David Carradine, Wesley Snipes, Lorenzo Lamas, Brandon Lee. Note: Jet Li fought in the ring as a child but never as an adult.

  6. Made to look good. He could only trick Westerners with his kungfu magic.
He wanted Bill Superfoot Wallace to be fallguy in his act but Bill wanted a sparring session to determine that and BLee refused. So you see BLee was actually a coward. He wanted to ride on Bill's credentials for publicity.
It's true he did demos but refused challenges cos he wanted to safeguard his reputation. Imagine if he was beaten, the publicity would be bad for his screen fame.
He was never a fighter but a show(off)man.
Chuck Norris? He was no more than a karate form champion, non combat.
I lost all respect for this kungfu God since.

  7. I get that Bruce Lee was a huge inspiration in martial arts but always making him out to be superhuman is childish. Bruce would regularly punch holes through punch bags LMAO. I practised JKD and was even training as an instructor but I never heard of any of the ridiculous stuff I hear on the internet. It makes me laugh and look, If its humanly possible then its already being done by other people. Believe me people do try extremely hard in there training.

  8. The most insane fight was when he fought a champion from China so he could teach King Fu in America to Americans, and get the blessing of the Chinese elders. And after Bruce won, the guy snuck up on Bruce after the match kicked him and broke his back. You never hear if the guy ever saw punishment for that dastardly low hand blow laid upon Bruce. And when I hear that, that really pisses me off. To hear that someone cannot accept defeat in a match of any sport. Then cheats. I hope the guy was caste out of China.Well, maybe that's what he would actually want huh? I don't know how they handle such things. It just pisses me off.

  9. When you see him doing bag work he’s all over the place. His punching and posture are awful definitely not a fighter actor maybe

  10. Bruce Lee refused to fight anybody. Full contact karate came to the US in 1971, led by Joe Lewis. It was going since the 1960's by the Kyokushin karate organization in Japan. Bruce Lee refused all invitations to fight. His so-called closed-door fight with non-fighter (instructor) Wong Jack Man, who weighed 130, ended with a winded Bruce Lee quitting after getting punched around (according to Wong). Lee misrepresented what happened. Wong publicly challenged him to a fight before the public. Lee refused as always.

  11. As children watching Bruce Lee on Green Hornet, we all thought there is some magic to kung fu. Now, thanks to MMA, we know it's all nonsense. Bruce Lee was an athletic actor and could beat up any non-athletic guy but that's all. He would get destroyed in MMA. Mythology is fun in movies but let's not actually start believing in the myths.

  12. When i was a kid i thought Bruce Lee would whoop everyone, hell we all did but thinking back now if you took a prime era Don the dragon Wilson against a prime era Bruce Lee i could be sadly mistaken but id put my money on Don as he was an actual champ, not a legend of built up myths nothing against Bruce as he was a bad ass but when people die young we tend to make unrealistic super hero thoughts of that person,Bruce fighting one guy on the street years later turns into he beat up 100 guys while on the top of a semi going 150 mph, i just believe Don or Benny Urquidez wouldve beat him if they had all been in their primes

  13. Bruce is famous for acting invincible not being invincible. Everyone needs salvation through Yahushua, the mediator between YHWH and man.

  14. I love Bruce and respect him for everything he did for martial arts, but I honestly think that a better than average collegiate wrestler would have given him a run for his money. I mean, sure, one inch punch, super impressive, but did you happen to notice that every instance of its use was against a compliant participant, not a motivated assailant? Also, the “target” wasn’t moving, not even a gentle sway and that isn’t something you’ll often see in a fight that isn’t for TV/movies. Fights are more often than not hectic as fuck with so many variables that attempting to predict them all is as foolish as it gets. Again, not taking anything away from Bruce, he’s a GD legend. I’m just saying that I wish there was real deal footage of him fighting! Not tournament rules point fighting with referees and timekeepers, etc. but real fucking scraps where the two individuals aren’t shaking hands and bowing beforehand. I’ve never been in a fight outside of the ring where we waited for the bell or touched gloves before getting after it. I wish we could have seen what Bruce really had because all but a scant few techniques from traditional martial arts have ever proven effective when pressure tested and that’s just a fact. Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo… These disciplines WORK against a determined motivated assailant, element of surprise or not. If a decent grappler gets a hold of you and wants you on the ground, then you’re gonna have to work hard to prevent it from happening, full stop. You’re not generating any power in kicks or punches when your face is grinding against concrete, hell your not even throwing them for that matter. There’s a huge difference between “I really want to win this tournament” and “I really don’t want to die in this alley”….

  15. He was a showman and a great self-promoter. As for his martial arts prowess… he entered the scene at a time when it wasn’t mainstream and still seemed amazing to westerners who were used to boxing style fighting.

None of his former students are ever going to admit this because they are financially connected to him and his legacy. Likewise, no of the actors who acted with him will ever say anything against Lee either because they would be attacked by Bruce Lee fanboys. The fact is he was an actor who knew how to create an aura of mystery and how to make the most of an opportunity.

He wasn’t stupid. There’s a reason why he never publicly fought. If he did, the outcome is uncertain and it could affect his standing.

Honest martial artists would look at his technique and see how lazy and slow it is. The training montage in this video reminds me of a little kid punching and kicking a punching bag.

  16. Lee would drag Dan to Venice Beach to taunt the body builders (Gold's outdoor gym) telling them that they're weak so they would throw a punch at him only to have their shoulders pulled out of socket 😮. Among all his strikes/moves; his lap sau was tremendous ❤

  17. The haters and the doubters always make their presence known, I am willing to bet that none of these haters and doubters would have the ball to said shit to him in his face

  18. Logan Paul is in the middle of setting up a fight with Bruce Lee. According to the contract, he is insisting that Bruce Lee be dug up and brought to Vegas for an expedition match 👀
