6. The best thing for this little guy is to be adopted by a new human so hopefully his former owner will not find him. Any owner who cannot be bothered to put a collar on their dog with ID is lazy and does not care. It is possible for a dog to slip a collar which is why a microchip is important. If he slipped his collar and the owner can't be bothered to check the local shelter in a 5 day time period then my opinion is the same– They are non-caring and/or lazy so not worthy of owning this dog, Certainly they did not bother to socialize him and/or may have abused him which would explain the extreme fear. Getting separated from his former owner is the best thing that has happened to him.

10. If I didn't already have four dogs, I would adopt Albert in a heartbeat! Just watching this half hour video endeared him to me! Praying that Albert finds a really good home, is shown a ton of love, and is never let go!

13. Some of the very shut down dogs are ill and feel poorly. I hope the shelter staff determines if an intake dog has a normal temperature.

25. What an absolute darling he is. Reminds me of my late heart dog Meg, even down to the one ear up one ear down. She was a terrier collie cross and I would say he is too. If I wasn’t in U.K. I would adopt him in a heartbeat. Thank you for all you do. ❤
