4. Jesus is calling people to repent and turn from your sinful ways

5. The floods and earthquakes we're witnessing are not without reason. They serve as a reminder for us to be alert, turn away from sin, and offer ourselves as sacrifices to Jesus.

   Haggai 2:6 

   "For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;" 

   The mighty God is shaking the earth with floods, earthquakes, and even in dry places all around the world.

   Because of all the sins humans carry and without them repenting, Jesus Christ, our Lord, sacrificed himself.

    Isaiah 24:16-21:

   16 From the ends of the earth we hear singing:

       “Glory to the Righteous One.”

   But I said, “I waste away, I waste away!

       Woe to me!

   The treacherous betray!

       With treachery the treacherous betray!”

   17 Terror and pit and snare await you,

       people of the earth.

   18 Whoever flees at the sound of terror

       will fall into a pit;

   whoever climbs out of the pit

       will be caught in a snare.

   The floodgates of the heavens are opened,

       the foundations of the earth shake.

   19 The earth is broken up,

       the earth is split asunder,

       the earth is violently shaken.

   20 The earth reels like a drunkard,

       it sways like a hut in the wind;

   so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion

       that it falls—never to rise again.

   21 In that day the Lord will punish

       the powers in the heavens above

       and the kings on the earth below. 

   Joel 2:30-31 says: "And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes." These verses portray cosmic phenomena as signs preceding the judgment day, emphasizing the gravity and magnitude of the impending events.

   Luke 21:25-26 reads: "And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken." These verses describe the cosmic signs and earthly turmoil that will precede the return of Jesus and the culmination of history, highlighting the universal impact of these events.
