The truck that was struck @ the 9:40 mark probably stalled or got stuck in someway. From our vantage point it's a little hard to say but he didn't appear to have a trailer and he could have simply backed up enough to allow the train a clear track. Of course he could have just panicked even if he had enough time to do so. If he did so, it was an incredibly selfish and cowardly thing to do (IMO) as he wasn't thinking about the train's operator, grew, or probable passengers aboard the train.
