I intercepted 3 tornadoes on this day all produced by the same high precipitation supercell that began near Altus Oklahoma and tracked ENE. The first tornado I intercepted was on the muddy road network on the west side of Tom Steed Reservoir. It was a barely visible rain wrapped drill. The sun was going down and the supercell was approaching the Wichita Mountains were all Easterly roads ended. Chasers had 2 choices. 1, Meet the storm on the other side of the mountains after dark. Or 2, go into the bear cage for a final daylight stand. Those of us that chose option 2 were rewarded with brown underwear.

  1. Question I live in Oklahoma, what do you think this tornado should’ve been rated on the F scale, I know we go by damage & everything but come on, a 2.6 mile wild tornado is crazy

  2. i’ve been confused about this video for years. i was mostly confused why he was talking in 3rd person when it was him who made the video and how it abruptly ended. but idk why i just realized that he made it like a story instead of a normal video

  3. That was scary he didn’t panic he reacted and got away hopefully when it’s pouring rain and you can’t see and the wind is just moving I can’t imagine being in that situation

  4. Man oh man, you realized there was a monster tornado hiding in the rain and got out of there not a moment too soon. It literally grew more defined on camera as you raced away. Unreal.
