I was going to do a top 5 but the video goes from having no copyright claims to being completely blocked if I have a fifth moment. Other dumb moments I would’ve considered are Misa saying she found Kira in one of her tapes, Misa showing up to Lights house after sending that tape, and Matsuda getting caught at Yotsuba.
source
These are not "dumb", these are people's reactions when they don't know a superdetective is watching everything they do.
Love how half of the moments on this list are caused by Misa.
The first one should be watching Death Note dub and not sub
Love that depressing ass song in the beginning. Makes me feel all kinds of ways
the dumbest unexplained moment of the show is how light killed takata when she was kidnapped. he wrote that she immersed into flames and burned everything around her but the death note rules state it has to be a reasonable way of death for the person. what’s reasonable ab takata doing that?
now that i see these videos and the comments i realize how dumb very scenes at the anime was but i think the reason for that tho is because the anime is rushed so and lets be real after the 25 episode the anime it felt like it died
I haven't heard the English dub omgosh it's uhhh…intresting 💀🤣
Damn the voice actors are just lit 🔥
The real dumbest moment was when the writers gloss over how Gevanni got into Mekami's safe deposit box. They are literally designed to be only accessible by the box owner. The only other way of getting in without both keys present would be to drill the box open, but that clearly did not happen since they show a shot of the box open cleanly. But yeah don't worry. Gevanni just "got into his safe deposit box" by means that will not be explained :^)
Can't decide which moment was the dumbest:
1: Light on Episode 2
2: Light on Episode 5…
You'll understand why.
Literally cried at this anime last night
Such a great anime. Doesn't need to have 500+ episodes for greatness.
I’m only 5 episodes in and I already have a couple complaints.
1. The robber got killed during the bus scene and that detective gave away his name. How wasn’t he suspicious after what happened?
2. Why did Light feel the need to kill the detective? It just drew attention to him.
3. The girl on the bus who witnessed all that just stayed quiet? Not a single word?
4. The fiancé of the detective asked him questions about what happened on the bus and she didn’t ask who she gave the name to?
5. Later when the fiancé gave light her real name. Like what? Girl isn’t that stupid. She should have given another fake name tbh. Light was very suspicious.
I can’t wait to see more, but some things don’t make much sense.
U
L said that if he died then light will be proved as kira
I wish light really killed L right then. then manipulate everyone to believe that kira is trying to make everyone think that he (light) is kira.
By not killing L right then.light increased L's suspicion on him even more
Which was pretty stupid of light
L: “HaIR”
“Snack crumbs…”
“hAaIRRR”
“Mr Yagami your son is kira L+ratio”
“HMMM ANOTHER HAIR.”
You think if Mulder and Scully were assigned to the Kira case (as an X file) , if they could solve it?
To me, the single dumbest thing about Death Note is how moronically naive the task force is and the amount of plot armor they provide for Light.
We've unanimously decided that Kira must be one of the people investigated by Raye Penber. The second Kira publically announces intentions to meet the real Kira. Shortly afterwards, Misa Amane becomes Light's girlfriend. And then, physical evidence is found linking Misa to the second Kira.
How is that not DAMNING evidence? Light salvaged it by introducing conflicting information, but while the actions Light took did counteract the conclusion that he is Kira, they did NOTHING to explain why the evidence against him was so damning to begin with.
The task force just focused on the 13 day rule being incompatible with Light being Kira and completely forgot the reason they suspected Light to begin with. What happened to L's plan to test the 13 day rule? Did everyone magically forget about it? Even when Near brings it up, they STILL aren't convinced.
If I was L, after Misa's arrest, I would tell the task force that it is no longer viable to work with them given Soichiro's relationship to Light, who is now the prime suspect and I would take all this evidence to the government.
Also, the fact that L didn't arrest Light immediately after he apprehended Misa but rather gave him time to setup an alternative plan. Without Light setting anything up, the killings stop when he is arrested and that's the end of everything.
The show stopped being believable after this point. Misa completely ruined Light. Her character should never have been introduced
I'm disappointed, I thought you where going to show actual moment where the logic behind death note story is dumb, that would be so interesting ^^'.
The whole series of death note was dumb. MAJOR logical leaps and ungodly authority given to what was pretty much a toddler in L. Once they found out the "gods" of death were real, the only way they could have caught light was to pretty much see him write in the notebook. (Since any death god could write anyones name down at anytime). It was one of these worse animes ever made.
People dont know that L is autistic

Killing Lind L.Taylor is the dumbest mistake Kira made: just doing as usual without paying attention to what L does and says would have been a winning move. Perfect crime, no way be identified etc… Doing nothing unusual was key.
