Seems like anything can happen down at Bondi. Lifeguards have to be prepared for anything and always ready to act! (Check out some of their best rescues here – https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0Xa58krD0jXcnNCuNWTGCOQEw0jRgNx4)
In studying to be a nurse I have never forgotten some words, an instructor said, “animals have fits, people have seizures”.
I later worked in Emergency and saw many seizures!
Just an interesting observation..actions supersede words…you lifeguards are the bees knees!!
Aww Anjelica bless her she is so sweet bless her

they never had a pretty girl from johberg 😂
the diabetic fellow is so badass, absolutely took that on the nose and kept going. good for him.
this video saved my life
These guys are amazing. Their job as lifeguards is not an easy one. They act quickly to every emergency and do an amazing job. People on the beach are so lucky and blessed to have them watching over them.
I hope you’re doing good love mommy
My gf has it to
Am I the only one that watches bondi in my free time
In the US they can't force you to go the hospital. Especially for someone who just had a seizure, you aren't in your right mind and can't make an informed decision about medical care.
I’ve had grand mal seizures and the way these guys handled these situations would have made the sufferer feel SO much safer. I still tear up thinking of the ambos and firefighters who have helped me know I was safe.
Lisa, what a wonderfully kind woman you are! So on point, and with a heart of gold
As someone who suffers from seizures I have to say there terrifying to wake up not knowing what's happened
In regards to the girl at 3:49, i can relate to her, but in regards to a different condition as i myself grew up with my own mother having Rheumatoid Arthritis witch causes swelling of the joints and my mother's affected her from the kneck down, so i can understand exactly where the lady in this time stamp is coming from as being absorbed by stuff like this especially in your young formative yrs, at least as it was for me, you tend to pick things up over the yrs….
I’m really happy that you guys help others in a very bad situation 😊😊😊
People watching this in 2024
My bf has seizures he’s epileptic but I still love him no matter what
can i just say how incredible it is to see these lifeguards being so unapologetically open about their emotions? that’s true masculinity right there!
I'll give ye the pup code stuck on a tablet and the pup code stuck on
Op 4:7

14:45 the twilight towel
The way Chappo handled that situation was incredible!
I have epilepsy
This happened to me but in the car park and when I woke up I was confuse don’t know what was going on
These blessed souls! ❤
I lost my brother Jackson on July 2, 2022 and he died because he had a heart attack in the water on Bondi Beach I miss you Jackson😭😭😭😭 we love you❤️
The girl is South African like me 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I have seizures so I find this interesting. And I also want to be a lifeguard.
I find it so odd that they call them 'fits' and not seizures
I love these guys so much
These lifeguards are so genuine and caring.
I don’t know what the healthcare situation is like in South Africa, but if an American is having serious healthcare issues and refuses the ambulance or a hospital trip, please know it’s because we’re all fearful of huge medical bills we can’t afford. It’s wired into us to refuse ambulances unless we are on death’s door.
I have epilepsy and other health problems. These lifeguards are awesome. I gate it when paramedics panic, I am usually doing enough for both of us, and when they act like they don't care it's just as bad. These were professional caring or calm.
Chappo and Yatesy are two great guys to have helping you if you're poorly
A guy at my work had a seizure last year. I knew how to react from my mom having epilepsy, but it was still scary. He had a recent stroke history, so we called paramedics right away to be safe. He bit his lip quite badly and was bleeding quite a bit. His son was absolutely panicking, thinking his dad was going to die. All I had to do was wait for help and try to soothe him and his child, but it was a very tense few minutes. I was really grateful that one of my coworkers used to be a CNA and she was a big help. And of course the paramedics were absolute heroes 🙏
Hi
Too many rubber necks tell them to fluff off, don't need large crowds hanging around
HEROES ❤❤❤❤❤!!!
In South Africa the ambo takes u to hospital no matter what
