Hospitals are creepy at night. I worked in the ER for 25 years. One of the duties of the ER staff at night was to take bodies down to the morgue in this huge dark basement and sign the body into the morgue for the staff to deal with the next day. It was dark and everything echoed down there. Sometimes you could hear things moving around too. We used to do rock, paper, scissors to see which unfortunate staff member would be the one going down. We all hated it and I’m not a big believer in the supernatural.
