I was told to use my elbow to block a hook with my hand not full but back
Alot of European fighters throw the fist up method of hook and some American fighters throw it palms down. The palms down method seems to be a bit faster for some reason especially when throwing a quick in Close counters shots
It's much more convincing if it comes on the professional boxer.
