A mudslide prompted a road closure on the iconic Los Angeles road Mulholland Drive on Tuesday, 28 February of natural disasters. Mud and debris flowed down a hillside in the Beverly Crest neighborhood of Los Angeles. The City Firefighters evacuated an unharmed elderly man and his caretaker as a “precaution” and temporarily stayed with a neighbour. Fortunately, there were no injuries or entrapment, and the power remained on of natural disasters. It also known as the Mud Creek Slide, was a massive landslide that occurred in California’s Central Coast region on May 20, 2017. The landslide was triggered by heavy rainfall that saturated the soil on a coastal bluff, causing it to give way and slide down into the Pacific Ocean of natural disasters. The resulting debris covered a stretch of State Route 1, also known as the Pacific Coast Highway, which is a major coastal route that runs through the region of natural disasters. The landslide was estimated to be around 1,000 feet wide and 1/3 mile long, and the debris reached depths of up to 40 feet in some areas of natural disasters.
