28. Everyone at Takis' shelter must be working VERY hard!! I worked many years at a shelter and I know the work is endless. All newcomers have to be weighed, bathed, given flea preventive, shots, wormer, nails clipped, and spay/neutered. Then there's monitoring surgery patients and IVs, feeding, giving meds to dogs on treatment plans, flea preventives, heartworm preventives, scooping the yard, cleaning, mopping, checking diabetics glucose levels and giving insulin, ordering supplies, talking with potential adopters, mowing, repairs, it's endless. And when you have hundreds of animals…..!!! But it's so worth it and is even fun a lot of the time! I miss the shelter and that's why I like Takis channel. The videos are just like being there…no stories, music, and dramatic productions. What you see is what it is. Thank you, Takis!
