2. Soooo.. I mean hauntings have become a new big business venture.. believe it or not, I get most of my invites to investigate by realtors for disclosure laws.. I am now doing a home on the market for sale, that during the 1920's thru 1940's was an illegal abortion house and has a well-documented history of deaths, suspicious and brutal treatments and happenings, and eventual police investigation as being such, just outside St Louis, a decent fixer upper…. All you investigators with YouTube channels and fancy shows. Welp can have your $300 to $1500 a night investigations, because I don't think ghost really care how much you spent to be there to decide if they should show up or not, honestly? it's almost like the more expensive the place, the more they try to convince us their money was well spent.. I'm bothered by that actually

I was friends with Donna one of the first Taps members on TV and she told me a lot of what you see as far as reactions were edited post production to get the reaction the T.V. producers wanted. She also said parts of each episode were scripted. But all reality shows are to a point.

4. Hawes has recently started posting new investigations on his channel. Why not review one of the new ones? Especially the one with the bat.

5. What I should have said, is that the words you choose to put out here really reflect on to you. The ugly abusive comments make you look very gross. I can come off as the alien Mr Burns sometimes, but I'm not hurting anyone. Maybe try to do better.

8. I think the property owners were rather disappointed in this case. With their 'Victorian paranormal ' theme coming up , they could do with some 'scary ghosts '. Instead they had a moan, a door and nothing to fear.

    You've done what i can't do with the 9 Star Wars films, watch them without all the hype and bias.
    I will say that i found your assessment interesting and i agree with most of it.
    Like you there's an episode that I've not seen, it the one the network didn't want to broadcast bt jason insisted on it, its where the owners were called out as fakes. Hidden speakers, lights that are designed to move etc. i just need to find it. 😀

14. I’m a huge GH/TAPS fan and think your analysis of this episode was fair and pretty much spot on. I’m a believer in the paranormal due to personal experience and can’t stand the fakers out there. I’m terminally ill and have good reason for hoping there is something after I pass. I need to be here for my son, who is autistic, and desperately want to be able to watch over him.
    What I like about Jason is there’s no drama in his investigations, like all good debunkers, he keeps it real. I also, like you, understand his reaction to his daughter’s situation. I can guarantee he’s told Satori he hates what she’s done but he also knows what this lie and all the media attention is doing psychologically to her. Yes, she’s awful for taking advantage of vulnerable people but he’s not going to add to the risk that she might try to harm herself after the fallout. It’s wrong that people are criticising Jason for something he’s not responsible for. I’m sure he’s blaming himself enough as a parent, without others slamming him. We all question ourselves if our kids hurt people. We all wonder if it’s something we’ve done or not done that made our kids go off the rails. Sometimes, yes, parents can be horrendous and you can understand why a child has gone down the wrong path through trauma. But Jason is a lovely guy and doesn’t deserve that label. Just thinking out loud.
    Anyway, thanks again for your fair analysis. I hope you watch more GH, (not GH international, I don’t trust the Irish guy), I think you’ll enjoy it. 🫶🏻

17. They were the first group I saw use the stupid Maglite Flashlight gag. I debunked that on my own in less than 10 minutes. I stopped watching because I couldn't take that fake tool. Most of what they do seems lagit. But that killed it. Made me think maybe the rest was crap too.

    Also,to see Ghost Hunters, TAPS, THE best and greatest hits,go to the first season and watch them with Grant. They were just true pioneers in Ghost hunting/Paranormal Investigations! They first years were the best in my opinion. And I agree,don't judge Jason on his daughters actions because a True Dad defends his daughter always & supports her. But I feel he gave her & Cody a good sit down talk.
    Enjoyed and do a CJ or Jasko debunk,those guys truly just urk me with the blatant fakery & poor acting!😮 oh my,those guys!

28. Nice of you to come around to Taps. You are probably looking at the only TV paranormal investigation show that is not shy about telling a client that they found nothing, and in some cases, they debunk the claims.

    Having said that, I was going to comment that at least they don't mess around with Rempods, but apparently that started after I stopped watching.

29. If I were ghost hunting and a door knob turned on its own and I saw it as it happened, there’s no way in hell I’d wait til later to investigate it! That’s such terrible investigative practice!! How do you expect to CATCH anything if you wait til later 😅😂🤦🏼‍♀️ unless, like you said, it’s fake and part of the build up for the drama 🤦🏼‍♀️

30. As a parent I would like to address this stick up for your child issue. YES back your child up all the way IF you know that what they are saying is the TRUTH! Otherwise you are enabling them to grow as liars if you don't. Never be the parent that says my child would never do something because I hate to shatter the illusion, children will if they think they can get away with it.
    Yes you may have to embarrass your child in front of others if you catch them up in a lie. However, better to teach the child that the truth is your best option as all lies will somehow come back to bit you in the ass hard! So mush more painful that the little embarrassment hurt.

31. Ghost Hunters used to be good. They debunked a lot. Real ghost hunting is usually boring and you catch nothing. I think they sold out for views.

33. The TAPS people started out mostly okay. It got worse as it went on, presumably because producers wanted MORE GHOSTS and MORE DRAMA.
