  1. From what is shown here, the gorilla did absolutely nothing threatening towards the dog. The gorilla kept his distance, he was just observing an intruder into his home, as a human would do. Gorillas are highly intelligent beings, with the ability to form abstract thought, he was trying to figure out what the dog was doing.

  2. I think the male gorilla knew pretty quick it wasn't a threat. You can see that's a more defensive chase and then it stops to survey everything… if that gorilla (they can reach speeds up to 25MPH) wanted to end that dog, it could've. Some dogs can reach up to 30+MPH for short bursts and greyhounds can go to 40+… but most normal mid size dogs or mutts are in the 15-20MPH range.

  3. The gorilla's full name is Franklin Clinton and he's actually featured in the 2013 videogame called Grand Theft Auto V (5) as a playable character and as one of the three main protagonists.

  4. I was just there. Funny thing sbout this soecific gorilla enclosure is that the gorillas could honestly escape if they wanted to.
