It’s safe to say that elephants are not afraid of many animals, especially when the herd is strong and healthy. But that doesn’t stop other animals from challenging elephants all the time. If you want to see what happens when elephants become rude, this is it, so let’s get started.

Elephant VS Elephant

Two enormous bull elephants are fighting for their lives. They’ve been going at it for three days. If the ragged-eared one wins, he will be the female’s sole heir. Both bulls are in “musth,” and the tension of the fight could kill them, especially because they haven’t eaten since the skirmish began. Finally, one of the elephants gives up and wanders away. Wildlife enthusiasts approached what they thought to be a single elephant in the brush, which turned out to be two elephants. The two battling bull elephants burst from the bushes just yards from their jeep at that same moment. They’d been fighting for a while.

During “musth”, there is fierce competition among the bulls, who fight one another for dominance. These battles can be violent, and the beaten elephants will sometimes succumb to their injuries. When male bull elephants enter “musth,” a season when elephant bulls can become extremely antagonistic and dangerous, this is most likely to happen. A “musth” elephant can even kill members of its own herd. These two bulls have gotten increasingly violent as their testosterone levels climb 60 times above the normal level, and they have discovered each other to fight. Both bulls are vying for the same female, so this clash of titans is almost inevitable.

Two elephants put their fighting abilities to the test. Young males may use forest clearings like this one to interact with other males, establish dominance, and develop abilities they’ll need later in life to compete for females.

Elephant VS Lion

Fast-moving gazelles are hard to catch, but a tiny elephant is a tempting target. It’s hard to keep up with the herd, but if she drops behind, the lions won’t miss a beat. They follow, waiting for the right moment to strike, so when mom and calf are split from the herd, it’s time to rock and roll. But a protective mother is not to be messed with. She roars and uses her powerful trumpet blast to scare away the big cats. The calf sticks to mom like glue, staying between her legs. The felines are outmaneuvered by the mother at every turn. The calf is safe for now. When a huge elephant spots a couple of lions dozing off in the shade, he slowly walks toward the felines, disturbing their peace and forcing them to run along somewhere else.

The lions don’t look back and run to find somewhere else to nap. It was an exciting day in Serengeti! An elephant herd protected a young calf while a pride of lions stood its ground to protect a fresh kill, and a chase ensued! When the herd became serious about the chase, the lions picked up their stuff and scrammed in no time. A herd of elephants on a rampage is the last thing you want to be standing in front of, even when you are a lion. The elephants in this video have already bumped into this lion pride in the past. The elephants do not like the presence of the lions in their territory, and they are becoming more and more agitated which spells danger for the felines, but they have no intention of moving on.

The elephants don’t realize that down at the river, the pride is feasting on a buffalo kill. The large animals become more distressed. Finally, the matriarch has had enough, so she charges the carcass. Why she would do this is difficult to explain, but the message is clear. Eat quickly and scram! She leaves the lions to their kill, but she has made a statement and just reminded the felines she’s the boss. Lions are often thought of as the “King of the Beasts” and rightly so, that is of course, until real royalty comes along and shows them who is the boss! When a massive elephant slowly begins to walk towards a pride of lions, which includes tiny cubs, sub-adults, males, and females, the entire caravan gets up and moves the circus out of town.

  1. I love how the comments differ between videos of Elephants mercilessly killing animals. In some vids it's "these are powerful creatures who deserve our respect." In others, it's "Oh-em-gee, aren't elephants such horrible creatures?"

  2. Elephants know that other animals are scared so sometimes the elephants are having FUN!"😂😂 I love when elephants kick with their back legs. 😂

  3. @2:26 "She roars, and uses her powerful trumpet blast…"
I guess we will have to take our host's narrator's word for it, since our host chose to erase the roars and erase the trumpet blast.

What is the obsession with some hosts to replace the actual sound of the scenes with random music?
The obsession is so intense that they even tell us what sounds are there, rather than letting us hear the sounds that are there.

  4. Since elephants are intelligent he assumes that they must have good reasons for their violence. Nope, how wrong can you be. The more intelligent an animal the more likely it is to have "personality issues".

  5. Почему, говоря по английски, считается правильным не убирать биллиардные шары изо рта ?

  6. That Asian elephant at the end that pissed all over the road. After it confronted the truck was HUGE…!!! I've never seen an Asian get that large.

  7. Basically the elephant v anything, the elephant wins everytime. It must be severely frustrating for the other animals. What can you do but run! Its like trying to take on a tank with a full grown tusked up bull. Even worse in musth they are most aggressive and highly unpredictable. The elephant is the most intelligent and strongest land animal there is. Also a herbivore which is amazing. I'd like to see elephant v gorilla. That would be something!

  8. The elephant has impaled buffalo and lifted them off the ground before. Bull elephants during their Must will practically kill anything. Now that their are fewer females then in the past, their Must is getting more violent
