9. That was the first thing I noticed in yesterday's video that a lady did. Hero was right next to her wanting love and when she went away he cried. That definitely told me that he's afraid of men. Sweet boy!

19. The difference in these two dogs is unbelievable!! And, with the proper care, Takis has them up and running with happy tails in about a week (give or take). We all remember the mess that Hero was in and how shutdown he was. It actually hurt to see him staring at the wall. How could anyone look at those poor sick eyes and not do something about them? Tolis was laying at death's door with no spark of life in his eyes and had languished for months without even minimal care. I'm surprised his organs didn't start shutting down. If his owners didn't want to pet him or play with him, that's one thing, but to walk past him daily and not feed him is quite another. For the life of me, I can't understand how someone can walk past animal in need and just ignore it. Thank you to Takis and everyone else involved in cleaning up someone else's mess. AGAIN!!

27. My rescue (from Romania) was very scared of men, including me, when she got here. It took many weeks of work and patience but when she finally put her head in my lap to be scratced behind her ear I melted and cried a bit out of happiness to see her be able to trust again. Dogs are amazing. All the best to both Hero and Tolis ❤

32. Hero’s cute front legs look like a little old ladies with outward pointing toes ! Really like how Takis never forces himself on a dog who doesn’t want to come close to him – the best way to remove anxiety and restore confidence in any animal. 🐕
