  1. Not normally one to question someone’s abilities, but I don’t believe for one second that you played demon souls for the first time and beat it without dying once. And that there’s no reason you should die in that game lol. I’m not seeing it.

  2. Tbh I kinda get the “outdated graphics” thing. There are games from like 8-10 years ago that definitely look nicer graphically. But the art direction in ER is obviously top tier.

  3. >go fight these 4 unique story bosses and tell me they feel the same
okay now go fight the 130-ish bosses that are straight up just buffed normal enemies or copies of story bosses like Astel or Mogh.
Throw in the countless fodder enemies all around, the same trolls, same cavalry, same knights that are reskinned for like 5-6 different areas all having the same exact moves and gear.

Not gonna bother watching the rest of the video, i saw some dogshit takes in the reviews and i'm sure there are plenty more but i also know there's a lot of valid criticism.
Elden ring is overrated, it has a lot of issues, i do not believe it could be considered peak souls like based solely on knowing what the previous games nailed.

  4. The Nioh comment was legit – its mechanics are so much more than FROM's Souls-type ones. And I'm saying that as a fan of both, but Nioh combat feels just so much better (especially in Nioh2 – the stances, the weapons, soul core combinations, yokai shift types, etc etc).
Then again, I play each of them for different reasons.

The most disappointing thing about Souls though, for me, is that they barely do improve their combat mechanics from the one to the other – you can go through all of them with just light attacks and dodge-rolling, without needing anything else.

  5. Whilst I agree with the view that elitist elden ring players are annoying who ridicule players for using summons when it’s literally a feature in a game, having played the game with summons and then without summons it’s so much more rewarding playing without summons as you gain a whole new appreciation for intricacies of the boss designs and how to learn move sets and actually get better, I feel it is a more rewarding experience playing without summons so I would urge any players who haven’t to try it

  6. This incessant focus by content creators on the opinions of imbeciles is tiresome.

How about a video about all the completely legit critique that can and should be leveraged against Elden Ring?

  7. Sad to see that the negative reviews are just reviewbombing and not real critiques of the game because Elden Ring in particular has lots of problems that deserves to be critiqued, but when reviews like these are negative for the wrong reasons, it leads to people like you making videos on them which makes it seem like Elden Ring is a perfect game with no issues and everyone who critiques it are "objectively" wrong. 0 points is too harsh, personally I’d give Elden Ring something between 60-70 out of 100 on metacritic. Just so you know there are more people like me out there who didn’t like Elden Ring with justified reasons, unlike the ones you just read
