  1. For me it's a 9/10. The only negatives are some minor issues related to the camera during boss fights and also the overaggressive moveset of some bosses (other Fromsoftware games and DLCs didn't have this in that extend) which both of these two problems can't be fixed. Also I didn't like that much the final boss and ending lore and thematically wise. The other Fromsoftware games had a more grand and definite finale with a more satisfying lore and story ending and better designed final boss fight. This felt like cheap fan service in response to the base game. All the other issues that have to do with balance and difficulty will be hotfixed in a patch like always. Performance/optimization sucks but its not a big deal to me.

All the other things were done really well, the new areas, enemy encounters and bosses, art style, weapons. Music was good but not on the same level as the base game or other DLCs.

Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine, Old Hunters and Ringed City remain my only clean 10/10 masterpieces.

  2. I am dumbfounded by the ammout of paths somone can take!! I love it but have no clue where to go first. It is amazing in my opinion.

  3. Does the base game level matter at all in the dlc, cause i'm quite over levelled… And how complicated is it to reach the new area in the game, is it missable?

  4. for some reason they do dlc like this. Ha, they make real dlc. Every dark souls game I played, the dlc gives new weapons, it give new maps, new enemies, higher scaling, and a lot of other things. Unlike most other dlcsfrom other games, you just get skins, and a map maybe, but for the most part its just random junk the devs throw together so they can sell dlc.

  5. His main complaint was for parts he was just riding through and pressing O but sure isn't that 90% of red dead 2 and most other modern open worlds

  6. I am having a blast with the dlc i really wished the base game had a smaller map like this its just too big for its own good (still one of the best games i ever played tho)

  7. It’s way way bigger than we were told to expect and I’m here for it. I LOVE the verticality too. In fact I prefer this map to the base game map. Awesome dlc. Wish they’d figure out how to successfully tell stories in a way other than forcing the player to speak to every npc and you can’t miss some or you’ll miss story sections. It’s frustrating and the ONLY real flaw in their game . That’s it.

  8. Falcon was like I’m not gonna show the bosses based on what I’ve been hearing. I can already tell why you’re not going to the bosses because you beat them, bro lol honestly the game is a masterpiece so the fact that they made bosses that hard well have people talking about it for months

  9. Im on my 4TH playthrough and my god, this dlc is kicking my ass. Ive thought about rushing one of my other saves throught to get through to the dlc, but i may just suck it up and carry on

  10. I will forever be salty at the fact that I was a huge DS fan 12 years ago, and I was called a nerd, told the game was lame, etc. by all of my friends at the time only to see everyone and their grandma in love the souls like games. Y’all meat rode a decade late.

  11. Nah in ng+ you can get there in 1 hour via the white mask varre quest line. If you're starting from scratch as well, you can buy you'll have to be pretty good to do mohg at such a level. 😂
