I should 1st say I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS EPISODE, and how you teach this in a scientific, yet "grasp-able" way!!! however--I wish you had added right at the begining of the protien bit that protien does NOT need to come from an animal(meat). Personally, My own mother was a vegitarian (I cannot speak 1st hand for vegan) when she grew 3 humans;my sisters and I this is without meticulously paying attention to every crumb and weighing grams of things, more like, paying attention to your body and what its craving, noting why it might be craving it. Your body will usually crave what it needs. (i.e. if youve been craving oranges and grapefruit you may need vit. C). all three of us girls stayed veg. and 2 of us had 3 kids the other 2 kids all healthy and nursed the babies (as we were) for about a year, or longer in 1 or 2 circumstances. Im not preaching vegitarianism, just info 🙂 I do always apreciate your factual approch -loved how you added the part about amino acids/protien !! so I definatly would have liked to hear you mention how there are tons and tons of protien sources for a vegitarian without even trying :)…..side note i gained 50 flippin lbs with my 1st pregnancy …ugh
