Pitbulls.. when raised correctly by socializing, positive correction, love and affection (not 24/7 outside on a leash or heavy chain), they become big babies and your best friend for the rest of the pitbull's life. The best friend you will ever have! Yes they have a negative name worldwide because of their past and it's a shame these dogs are still bossed by low life scum and are still used in underground dog fights. As it was mentioned in some TV show, the world's most misunderstood breed of dogs!

I'm pretty sure the whole butt kissing and licking thing is the dog registering the cat's sent and it's brain as part of its pack. So the dog can quickly discriminate between Friend or foe. I'm pretty that's all that funny butt kissing is all about 😂 it'll probably stop after the doggie gets used to the kitty. They sure are cute.
Romanticizing the Pit Bull is not helpful. They can be fantastic companions. I miss my Bisha, very much. But, on any given day, a pitbull is capable of killing a family member and you need to keep that in mind at all times. They have personalities too. And that personality changes over time, just like ours.
