Having spent a good few years animating, I really appreciate the mastery of this animation, the effect of weight is one of the hardest things to achieve and this movie is a masterpiece, the movement of Kong and his facial details are a tour-de force of animation and observation, making the connection with his emotions and thus giving credence to the heart wrenching plot of his ultimate fate.
Hands down the best Kong ever!
