This is a video recorded of me by my mother in my final hours.
I was initially diagnosed with alcoholic indused liver cirrhosis. Although abstained from drinking for several months beforehand my condition continued to worsen.
I was told a few months before I would not live long enough to recieve a transplant. a couple months later in my final hours me and my family were given the good news a donor was found… this is were all these story’s become bitter sweet . someone had to die for me to live. to this person and there family I am only alive because of there gift and I am and forever greatfull. it turned out I have a very rare disease called budd-chiari syndrome which was only diagnosed after my transplant. Regardless of that drinking played a massive part. Alchole is by far the worst legal drug available everywhere.

  1. I noticed my eye yellow i dont drink so i started eating good food no processed foods no ice cream no sugar stuff drinking spinach juice and eating my 4 eggs daily plus beef salmon my eyes got well

  2. Why would you want to show this to other people? What about his human dignity? Poor man. Death is personal, for family? Talk about objectifying someone as a 'speciman'. Sorry, this is open YouTube, not a medical class. Is the speaking woman trying to prove how 'compassionate' she is or something? Heartless, unempathic and cold, does come to mind..Why would anyone show a man they know, so close to death, in delirium.

  3. So sad.. I had a dream I was told I would pass on in weeks. And I honestly was okay with it. I was looking forward to the next stage where all the pain, sadness, worry, anxiety, etc would all be gone. Knowing that every single living thing dies, it felt natural. But I am very sad, and sorry for everyone going through this. It's very sad and scary.

  4. For those who do not have any medical knowledge, the reason his skin is so yellow is called jaundice. Jaundice is a symptom of liver failure. Not only does the skin become yellow but the white parts of the eyes (sclera) becomes yellow as well. Most of the time the sclera becomes yellow first. If anyone knows someone whose eyes are becoming yellow, please have them see a doctor. It's not only alcohol that can cause these problems. Hepatitis can cause this as well. There is also non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. I am glad this gentleman was able to overcome his alcohol addiction and was able to receive a donor liver. Most hospitals have a requirement that a person has to remain sober for a long time (4 months to 1 year) to be able to be put on a transplant recipient list. There are some alcoholics that even though they quit drinking, they die before they can receive a transplant because their liver is so damaged. Just because alcohol is legal does not mean it's safe.

  5. Sad, we only have one life live it accordingly and make sure you have secured your next stop in eternity through the Lord Jesus Christ! Obey Acts 2:38…

  6. Lost mum and dad to drink and im 31 i witnessed it all and cleaned it all up and organised everything by myself its sad dad was 42 and mum was 61 the jaundice isnt a forgettable image 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  7. Did you learn your lesson? Because alot of alcoholics don't. They die by the bottle. My father is an abusive alcoholic. I have no sympathy. He did this to himself and now has damaged kidneys.

  8. Alcoholism is a catastrophic disease, my late mother began drinking at 28, just socially at home and dropped dead on the bathroom floor at 40. She went through 12 years of hell – it was like watching a dearly loved person commit slow suicide. She drank neat Vodka in the final years and it does not care if you are rich or poor, alcohol doesn’t care because it will make you poor by way of quality of life. She died bending over the toilet making the worst sound I’ve ever heard and the next thing we heard a bang, which was her head hitting the floor. On that final day she had been two weeks sober – it’s deadly to just stop abruptly without medical intervention after a period of drinking. My Mother had a beautiful family and grand children she has never met. She had a beautiful life and home. Everything to live for….but in the end she paid the price with her life. I never drink and I think going through that and seeing what I’ve seen has put me off. It is an evil drug and is wrecking many lives. I get onto my now grown up children all the time about the dangers of drinking. I always say drink on occasion and bear in mind alcohol is a toxic chemical. Go and research it and it will stop you drinking once you realise what it actually is. 😳😳😳😳😳

  9. Ah nothing like not being able to express what he has learned in his life. Looks like we have to pay money for murder instead of pay money to teach someone who could have potentially cured cancer or created a car that didn’t rely on toxic pollution.
