3. I am so happy for the family and their happy healing journey. We are cat people and we have found that every cat of different fur color has a very unique personality, but it has been our experience that black cats tend to be healers. Our sweet Macbeth can feel when you are in pain and she lays on top of you to keep you company. Maybe one day we will find out why the ancient people of Egypt revered the cats. In the meantime we truly love them just the way they are 😊

Its unfortunate when i went to adopt a black kitty they denied me they were like ex owner came back to reclaim him so i ended up adopting a female ginger cat that was 2 years old to match my current orange male cat hes 6 but shes nothing like him too annoying and crazy lol

10. Monkey is a jewel. He looks like a Bombay (cross between a Burmese Sable and an American black Shorthair). He resembles our rescue cat, who also has a little white tuft on her chest. They are loyal and loving cats. Thank you for saving Monkey. I hope you both enjoy many more years together.

11. Yes, my cats also always know when their momma is in pain, whether physically or emotionally. They then would hold a vigil by keeping their warm bodies around me. Never forgetting to check me from time to time. They're such gifts m.

15. I’m diabetic and I have black cat, that wakes me up when I have a dangerous low blood sugar! I also have an autoimmune disease en lost a leg so I’m a lot of times bed ridden… he always snuggles close to me and give so much affection that I enjoy my life! It’s true blessing to have him in my life!

27. Black cats are very special creatures. I have 3 of them 2 former ferals and 1 is a rescue. Everyone of my guys has a different personality but I love all of them and couldn't imagine life without them. And yes I love black cats and will always seek them out to give them a chance many others would not do.

36. I have two black rescue cats. Squeaks was about 2 years old when I got her, and Shadow was seven and had been at the rescue for FIVE years! When I found that out, I immediately wanted her. She is happy and healthy now at age 10. The cats are buddies and both sleep with me at night. I’ve had many cats, but these two are the best I’ve ever had. I will always adopt black rescue cats.
