5. Wonderful, I too love books and stories about London, so this is bliss Kate. A book I got for a mate who lives in Hornsey, that you might like is The London Nobody Knows. There are two other books in the series, but only the first has been reprinted, although they were compiled into a film in the 1960's narrated by and starring James Mason, that has been on Talking Pictures TV. It charts the remnants of old London before the modernist developers of the 50's and 60's swept a lot of it away. Glad you are all better after a dose of the dreaded lurgey.
