Donald Trump has survived an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally, days before he was to due accept the Republican nomination for a third time.
Gunfire set off panic during Saturday’s campaign rally, and a bloodied Trump was surrounded by Secret Service before being hurried to his SUV. The former President could be seen pumping his fist in defiance as he was led away to safety. Trump’s campaign said he was doing “fine” after the shooting, which he said pierced the upper part of his right ear. The FBI named 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the subject involved in the assassination attempt. Local authorities confirmed the suspected gunman and at least one attendee were dead.

Why did it happen while the right side of his head was turned away from the cameras?
Why did he smack his ear, not hold it? This is coming from my own personal experience and those I’ve witnessed in person. I hold where I feel pain, I don’t smack it.
