The stories you used to tell about different ways people got stuck in f'd up locations in f'd up positions were my favorites and i still talk about some of them like the guy that got stuck in the dinosaur leg😮and the guy that got stuck in the grocery store front pillar😮and lastly the one where guy got pulled up through the tiny hole while he was strapped in his safety harness and coukdnt get free.
These and a few others stilll haunt my subconscious;]

Both these stories are wild. So glad 'Pat Brown' wasn't incarcerated. I think he did time in his own head twice over.

You want scary stories come to buffalo New York we have the old train terminal… Definitely haunted .. we have the irion island museum, I bet you $1,000 dollars you cant spend a night in the old museum.. and they more than likely let you try. There's several haunted places here .. the old train terminal,me and my friends would sneak in to climb to the clock towers on clear days ypu can see 3 counties away but everytime we ever went in there weird things would happen, the last time we ever went in there it was so horrific we never went back

So even assuming the police said they couldn't help him, doubtful at best, he never made any other attempt to enlist the aid of authorities? No fingerprints, facial recognition software, no dna (federal databases also include civil databases such as 23 and me), no staying current on missing persons reports?
How about work? On the books? Request for social security number? Check of passport application, etc?
I posit this guy knew enough to stay clear of authorities
Contrary to what you see in the movies, the average person wouldn't have a a clue how to leave the country and somehow assume a new identity, expecially since there was problem a warrant for his arrest, since he was under indictment
This guy was hiding in plain sight as long as it was tactically advantageous to do so. Wonder if he would have been offerec probation at the time he was charged. And the amnesia would make it difficult to convict him on a bail jumping charge.
