  1. 39:23 I may be wrong but every time I see this story, I feel like it’s more of a ‘don’t make the same mistakes we did’ thing. Ofc OP knows her better, but that’s just how it reads to me

  2. I'm moving to England in the next few years and my partner's family members have repeatedly warned us about going to different areas when we're visiting because "there are a lot of immigrants in that area." It has taken all my restraint to not say "oh, like me?" every time. Or they'll go on rants about immigrants stealing jobs or not being highly educated.

I don't have a degree and have only worked service jobs. I'm the exact immigrant people claim they're against, but they always totally ignore that cause I don't look like the immigrants they picture when they say that stuff. The only difference is that I'm white and they don't picture immigrants as white.

  3. I absolutely love your style and commentary. You're also incredibly easy to listen to. The little vocal quirks always match mine, and I find it hilarious at times. Keep up the good work! 😊

  4. Ive watched the original videos but im listening to this too.
Im having some serious issues, and the new video calmed me down. But its bubbling under the surface. So a relisten is perfect. Good way to focus elsewhere. And its a view, and i wanna support as much as i can. 😅

  5. immigrants do need to go anywhere legally. that is true, reguardless is ones own parents did it illegally or not, its still true

  6. Unannounced aunt. Oh, my boomer father isn't the only one who does this? Fun times. He also likes to talk to any strange man that comes near him and recruits them to stalk me on his behalf 🙃 that's saying nothing about his other behaviour like body shaming, making me cry every visit, yelling at my dogs for barking at strangers (as they're supposed to)… oh and getting mad at me for spending my money on my teenagers or taking photos of my dogs with my phone in my house while eating my breakfast.

  7. today i saw an old man sitting on his porch petting a big sleepy black dog while a golden retriever ran around in his gated front lawn and it was such a lovely little moment that it made me feel really good about humanity. not everyone's soul shrivels up like a raisin as they age

  8. For the coworkers of the obviously communist secretary, the government runs on paperwork. You have to report her every. single. time. Get her fired with bureaucracy

  9. My mom was a pretty big narcissist and control freak, can confirm, when they feel a certain way it is like talking to a brick wall. She listened to other people so selectively that in coming out as bi to my mother, I actually had to come out 3 separate times, and each time she was just as surprised, she literally either buried the knowledge, or never listened in the first place. And when it finally did sink in she had a tantrum, complete with hypothetical death threats directed at anyone of the same sex I brought home. Which is terrifying. You’d think they’d be directed at me given that’s normally where she would’ve directed her anger, but no…

Point is it is like talking to a wall, and if you manage to break down their barrier, a narcissist suddenly feels vulnerable and distressed. And that can manifest as extreme anger or violence in certain people like my mother.

  10. What the person in the church reselling houses story sounds like they’re describing is what’s called an intentional community. What you’d traditionally call a Commune. Where a private group is actually managing the terms and conditions of living in the community, and everyone living there shares a set of beliefs and/or ideals. In these communities, having a sort of membership fee isn’t exactly unusual. And oddly yes it does resemble cults and various occult societies, simply because these are other kinds of intentional communities. It’s just not always sinister in nature. Though the structure here does seem dubious, I just hope that OP does indeed misunderstand what their community does, by their own admission they might be.

Im read up on these kinds of groups and societies and way back in the day there was a lot of talk between esoteric societies like the Golden Dawn and A.A. and Ordo Templi Orientis, that some smaller temple leaders were accused of basically abusing the advancement procedure to stall initiates to drain their pockets via the membership fee, and then scraping off the excess money that was supposed to go into the temple itself. So yeah these communes are very very corruptible if not closely managed.

  11. On the guy being scammed: I knew someone online whose father fell for this sort of scam and sent $500k to the scammers, including opening new accounts to send more money after he was stopped the first time. The family had to declare him incompetent to handle his own finances and lock him out of everything, to ensure that he couldn't send the scammers any more money.

  12. I'll have to admit I did not know who you were until your unfortunate situation recently and I'll have to say I actually enjoy your content a lot and I sure hope things turn in your favor cuz I think your actually a good guy oz. ❤ Thank you for your time and effort.
