31. All I've heard is excuses up to this point. The pitch of the roof was a safety concern, the SS was understaffed, blah blah blah.
    None of these things are good excuses for how the SS knew he was on the roof for 20 minutes and nothing was done about it. The pitch of that roof was never a concern for the SS. Any flatter and you have a flat roof. That was the worst excuse that anyone's come up with yet. Being understaffed doesn't explain how he remained there for so long. 2 SS agents who's expertise is in locating and mitigating threats could have easily removed the threat from the roof well within 20 minutes.

    We all need to demand an investigation by a third party. The ONLY logical explanation as to why they didn't do anything about a threat for 20+ minutes is that everyone who knew was aiding this young man's attempts. That isn't speculation at this point, it's the logical answer.

39. This is one of the worst things to occur at the worst moments. I will share this frustration here,

    First of all, if this was ever even slightly politically motivated, I really wish it hadn't come to this point. An assassination is something that starts wars, and if histories anything to go by, a few unlucky coincidences, and you've got WW1 on your hands. One assassination is more then enough to do that.

    I wish, however unlikely, for trump to be put in 'jail' for 2 weeks or a month, and for the court to rescind their court decision on presidential power. He could consider it his own mini-vacation, in a place where he can lay low and wait for the heat to die down, in a place secluded enough not many would know, as well as having the best security around that money can buy. Anything he could do right now would fan the flames, and the fact their is anyone, and I mean anyone who thinks trump should be assassinated, explicitly because he has crossed the line with the fact that he received no punishment for the January 6th riot, and instead a pardon so large that an assassination he commits like this would fall under that pardon makes it genuinely one of the worst decisions the court could've made.

    Why? Because he crossed the line in the sand with the January 6th riot with the use of violence. People died that day, and police were used. Because he was rewarded with immunity for all actions of presidents hence because of this, instead of receiving any punishments. Because doing so made extremist's out of normal people.

    Theirs a saying that goes, an eye for an eye. The reason it went unbroken was because without it, people would do worse and worse things against each-other for even some of the most petty and insignificant things. I think that this might be just that.

    Now, what happens if things continue as is? People who've been inflamed by trump, even slightly will now have to take a stance on if this was justified or not. The discussion will not be on who to vote as president, it will be on if you support assassination or not, and if anything's obvious here, the secret service will be moving. If they use violence against those that express even slightly the opinions above, then they'll be martyr's to start a war. War's have been fought over less.

    Please, if you got anything from this, keep a cool head. The future isn't looking bright.
