42. This is normal, ship’s passing in narrow channels wait until the last minute to turn as the pressure differential helps them pass without hitting each other or running aground. Casual Navigation made a good video explaining it

44. That procedure would all depend upon the circumstances at the time . That passage looked very active with other non military traffic. Both ships had to avoid all of the other vessels and avoid groundings.They timed the turns precisely. Both ships had personnel checking the surrounding waters for any possible danger including other vessels.👀👀👀👀

46. This was a drill. They didn't just see each other. They probably looked at each other for a full 30 minutes.
