Extraordinary video captured the moment a knife-wielding gang attacked a man in the back of a taxi in east London before the terrified driver made a quick getaway.
Footage filmed inside the vehicle shows masked thugs smashing the car windows before repeatedly stabbing the man as he fights back at around 5.10am on June 23.
Another attacker tries to pull the man in the blue T-shirt out of the car while stabbing him in the arm.
The petrified passenger tells the shocked taxi driver “uncle driver” as he tries to defend himself during the 20-second melee, before the pair flee the scene and the victim calls 999.
The Metropolitan Police has launched an investigation after the video was viewed around 45 millions times on social media.
