USA News LIVE: Secret Service Chief Kimberly Cheatle Faces Grilling Over Trump Shooting | Senate Hearing LIVE | CNBC TV18
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Monday demanded to know if the Secret Service was engaged in a “conspiracy to kill” former President Donald Trump when he was nearly assassinated earlier this month. Later, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) noted that “unfortunately, another thing that is happening, because we’re not getting answers from you today, is the conspiracy theories. They have already begun.”
Crockett pointed out that if people believe that the shooting was the result of some sort of government conspiracy, “that potentially incites the next level of violence at the next event, in retaliation for this.” She urged Cheatle to release more information. “So long as these conspiracy theories continue to fester, it is going to make your job that much harder,” she said.
It was one of a number of conspiracy theories floated about the shooting during the House Oversight Committee’s questioning of Kimberly Cheatle, the Secret Service director who so far has said she will not resign despite the admitted massive security failure that allowed the 20-year-old shooter to take multiple shots at Trump with a semiautomatic rifle.
House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) will hold a full committee hearing titled “Oversight of the U.S. Secret Service and the Attempted Assassination of President Donald J. Trump.” The hearing will conduct oversight of the U.S. Secret Service to gather information from Director Kimberly Cheatle following the assassination attempt of President Donald J. Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania
Republican members of Congress are focusing on the role of the Secret Service, as their frustration and anger grow over the agency’s response to an attempt to assassinate presidential nominee Donald Trump.
A House committee hearing will on Monday grill its Director, Kimberly Cheatle -something Speaker Mike Johnson said would make for “must-see TV” for Americans concerned about security lapses at a Pennsylvania rally earlier this month.
“She’s got a lot to answer for. And these concerns are bipartisan,” Mr Johnson told CNN.
Ms Cheatle’s agency is charged with providing protection to the president and his family, former presidents, those in line to the White House and other political candidates.
Republicans, who control the House, have been unified in pushing for Ms Cheatle to step down – or be fired – after a 20-year-old gunman was able to shoot the former president in the ear at the 13 July rally

I just want to share what happened to me and I gave you guys a glimpse but there's so much more that I can share with you guys is so many other people can and as we watch the story with Trump more and more starting to come out more development you just got to dig for it because they hide it other politicians this taking place with other government officials and state officials have been blackballed and had a lot of the same things happened to him and it's just covered up and our government allows those who are victimized our own people to continue to keep their job to keep on victimizing they should be held accountable chargers should be brought against them
I am not trying to diminish what happened to president Trump play any means I am sharing with the public as so many other has done over the years about the corruption within our own backyard and her people being believed in our system don't answer us on any level instead they continue to blackballed us when our government talks about securing us nationally we're not even secure within our own backyard from our own people of different positions and our government it's like Barbara mikulski and other leaders here in Baltimore and other states over the years since the 90s it's public knowledge they will not be bullied by their own counterparts people bullying people within our own government needs to cease in order for us to be secure nationally we must be secure within our own government everything is taking place in our government has for the last 15 years of corruption affects our leader we have now and our future leader and affects those in different areas of our government

Are American people deserve an answer regarding all of these issues
When you go to local authority in federal authority about the issues when you've been bullied and harassed and black fault in his system such as I have been when my son was abused at parkville Middle School in 2008 by its staff member Donna j chatfield then I received a phone call from Nancy grass neck my journey began of being bullied by the system in blackball where I can get no services I'm legally blind with partial vision and I used to work for the state of Maryland then I applied to work for the census board in 2020 I was hired they record all phone calls I did my fingerprint my federal background check passed everything my next step was to start training this type of behavior that's going on in our government and that's right and left that is doing this needs to stop I would like to be reinstated to my job child support money that the state has taken from me that was sent up from Pennsylvania my blind benefits from social security cuz I paid into the system nothing to do with whether you worked or did not workblonde benefits plus the state have my social security and health insurance turned off for the last 16 and a half years I can't even get my housing voucher so I can go back to work I've been homeless off and on for 16 and a half years me and my child I've gone to OCR Washington DC to report it and the young lady was helping me for a year and a half I was the one that told her about the videos of my son the state of Maryland refused to give her the original documents and they tampered with it so when I'm going to every Federal and local official I've gotten nothing I have all my paperwork and I'm making the short and brief and throwing a litt bed of my history and they change things in your files these things have happened to me I was on 1010 radio in 2009 and 10 and blog talk radio when a lot of this stuff came out and the young lady from the White House came on my radio show I had to go to Nancy pelosi's office this corruption and Injustice in our own backyard and Boolean state and federal employees they're doing this that it needs to ceaselook so many other Americans they're seeking Justice if we ain't safe with our own people within our own government than where we safe and they do whatever they can to cover it up
