Fireworks are beautiful but horrible for animals. From our inside dogs & cats to wildlife, such as squirrels, raccoons and opossums. As a wildlife rehabber I have taken in so many baby animals because Mom will run and hide and lose her little ones. Just a little information.
I gave my cats a hemp treat to help them get through the fire works. That and I stayed with them. They do okay through all of it.

You can tell that dog looks so excited that itβs humans survived what clearly was the apocalypse
I donβt know where you live, but July 4th
weekend*month *Be blessed forever for what you do
Very Cool!!!!!
beautiful reunion
a dogs love is the best!
Itβs a beautiful thing when an animal reunite with their owner because sometimes that just isnβt the case and it honestly, makes me kind of sad
I love how everyones face lit up when they got reunited with their dog and the sounds of room 5 turned into excitement
This is why I despise fireworks. I know they can be fun but people who are buying these mega fires works that are used in big shows and are shooting them off in residential neighborhoods for days make me so frustrated. The little ones that you can buy that donβt make a lot of noise and arenβt super big I donβt have a problem with but these big ones should not be allowed to be bought in my opinion. my poor dogs are absolutely terrified on the Fourth of July and New Yearβs Eve and day because all night long fireworks are going off nonstop and my own dog literally flies into the bed and stays there all night waiting for scary noises to end. So glad this family was reunited and the sweet baby is safe. animals are the only ones who can suffer from extreme fear from this. These fireworks can also trigger PTSD in people who have worked in the military too
When 4th of July comes around my cat goes in a room with food water litter box her favorite toys…plenty of places to hide… And noise canceling music..
I worked in an association which tracks the dogs chips for spain. On summer during festive days there is an increase of runaway dogs due to fireworks.
Now, when found by someone they need to bring to a vet or police station so they read the chip and call us in order to track the owner. Many owners where in another town for a festival or party and would refuse to come pick them up. Stating: "they shouldn't leave the party for the stupid dog".
I would forward the message as said by them to the police so they can take actions from there. I would make sure to emphasize they where mad at us for calling to make the police understand they had to set the owners right. If your dog is scared of fireworks, do not leave them in the patio alone, tied to their house, or worse at the balcony. Some would even jump and start running like crazy. At worse, cause a road accident and then we have multiple people mad calling us to track the owner.
Owners should prevent them or expose them to loud noises on those dates to avoid accidents.
At least 1 call of the night was the dog was hit and dying and they needed the owners name to sue. It was really sad.
Ay guys i have a question you see dogs are scared of fireworks but mine uuh isn't in fact if we use petards we have to keep him inside because he will go eat them and is completely fine with fireworks and loves to see them
I hate fireworks. Why do we pretend we're being bombed to celebrate things?

Some dogs ears are more sensitive to the fireworks than others. 1 mini schnauzer ( my dominant dog, always on watch) hated them another didn't care. Pit bull hated belguim mal didn't care.

As soon as I heard his voice I knew it was Eldad from Hope for Paws that was reuniting this fur baby with his family. Hope for Paws does amazing work with animals!
They need to allow fireworks completely where you canβt even sell them. You canβt buy them. Nothing they cost so many problems PTSD for people that were in the service animals birds itβs stupid they cause fires theyβre noisy. These mortars are like war zone three houses in my area caught fire and almost burned completely down. Itβs dry outside. Thereβs nothing good about this and eventually they are going to outlaw them and I cannot wait wait
Poor doggie he was scared
My boy got so scared the first time he heard some, I miss him everyday. RIP Rosco
My dog is afraid of fireworks also
Had another dog was the same way.
Then after that, we would take our dog to my aunts and she would care for him until we picked him up the next day. She lived further away and you couldnβt hear the fireworks.
Also so many people walk their dogs around during parades, city big celebrations , canβt figure out why they take them. Itβs so stressful on dogs. I would never take my dog where thereβs several thousand people. Think about your pet first.
Thank you. Good doggieee
I hate what fireworks does to our wildlife, pets. Horrible
If u know your pet is scared of fireworks than why r u doing them at your party??? Threats irresponsible. Iβm 71 & I have never liked fireworks & today it just plain irritates me to hear them & I get a headache. Nothing u can do if in a distance but you can give them medicine to help their anxiety.
Thank you for helping this beautiful baby, my girl Holly is so afraid of fire work's too, put her on meds from vet to claim her.
This is why I donβt let off fireworks
My dog ran off during a thunderstorm, we kept looking for him, found him 3 months later living in the woods, lost weight, but in great shape
My dogs are frightened of fireworks. Where i live in UK theyr always going off. One of my dogs makes a bee line for the fridge and forces himself into the space behind it and wont come out.
I remember w/I worked for a vet several yrs ago how imp it was to keep your dogs/cats in a cool basement, lots of TV noise or have a stereo on (quite loudly), and to have curtains shut all to drown out the noise from fireworks. It never used to be as bad as it is now, bc our politicians decided that it was OK for the residents to shoot off commercial grade fireworks within the city limits! THAT has screwed EVERYTHING up, as far as Iβm concerned! Itβs sooo hard on our domesticated animals! π€π’π€¬
It happens to cats too.
Me hate fireworks america insane love for dinamite
