This dog was found tied to a motorcycle via a leash. He was pleading for help with his eyes. The man gave the puppy some water and the dog was very happy. This made the man sad. The dog probably had been left outside underneath the sun for a long time without water or shelter.
He asked around, no one knew who the dog’s owner was. It was also unknown how long the dog had been there. It’s a not so well travelled street, very few people pass by and it’s possible that the dog had been there for days.
The man decided to risk being called a thief and took the dog to the vet. There, the doctor examined the dog. The dog was unusually well behaved, didn’t even whine or struggle when the doctor was scraping its ears.
They decided to give the dog a bath outside first as they were afraid the dog would make the other animals sick. After the bath the dog was much better. Although they were able to see just how much scabs the dog had on its back, likely a result of the skin disease and sun after they trimmed its matted fur.
Under their great care, the dog recovered. And is now safe and healthy. He has grown into a beautiful dog. Thanks to the kind strangers who gave him a new life.
