KUALA LUMPUR: A 39-year-old Turkish man, who jumped in the air to pose for a birthday photo on top of the historic Urfa Castle in southern Turkey, lost his footing when he landed and plunged 150 feet to his death this week.

Considering how even jumps from short heights could result in serious injury, it should not need to be said that when on top of high cliffs or mountain, especially without equipment can be incredibly reckless and a small mistake could mean certain death.
