  1. The May 2013 tornado was pretty powerful, but I'm surprised you didn't include the most powerful tornado known to have existed. May 3, 1999 Moore, Oklahoma. Windspeed 318mph with a base a mile wide. 46 people killed, 800 injured, $1.5 billion in damages. Its why we now have a EF tornado rating instead of a F tornado rating system due to it being the first tornado to go past the F5 rating ever.

  2. i love list 25

but please … it is annoying to have to listen to too-loud and repetitive music!

and please – if you have to do a personal ad … please do not interrupt your video mid-stream as it takes away from the impact of the video –
add your ad at the beginning or at the end of your video because – i don’t watch them anyways- and it’s MOST annoying when it interrupts the video

  3. I'd definitely add the Joplin F5 tornado to this list. A tornado strong enough to rip asphalt from the dirt it's paved on is an extremely rare occurrence. The twister itself was almost pitch black

  4. What would be good is if you NUNBERED these videos (such as what @fluffeetalks does)…you repeat topics over and over, but you do not number them…like, this one for example, is like #12? in the same topic name. Lol. It's be easier for us viewers. Lol

But you do a great job, and are awesome at this! 😎👍

  5. I was scuba diving through an 8.6 and an 8.2 in one day. Was diving through the 8.6, came up got back to the island off sumatra I was on for an 8.2 . Have lived with almost daily small quakes on Tanna Vanuatu as well as Volcanic eruptions from Mt Yasur.
The earth is an amazingly dynamic wonderland

  6. I was on the 7th floor of a 12 story building when the Loma Prieta earthquake hit. The building didn't collapse but Disney has never made a ride as terrifying as that ride.

  7. Hi, Mike. I have no idea how people still say that you are from Canada. You rock impressive gear from both universities and professional sports teams from all over Florida on a regular basis.

And yes, I saw what you did. 😉

  8. I was at a sci-fi convention in Layton, Utah when the Ridgecrest earthquake happened. The phone of one of the Guests of Honour kept going off with text messages from some of his friends asking if the ship has come alive again. The GoH was one of the extras in Tim Burton's "Planet of the Apes", and some of it was filmed in Ridgecrest.

  9. I like your videos, but I don't understand why you always insist forest fires are caused by manmade climate change. Some of the most destructive, particularly in places like California have way more to do with mismanagement of the forest. Naturally occurring forest fires are a necessary part of their continual renewing and growth.

  10. I was at World Series in Candlestick Park during the Loma Prieta earthquake. My mother was so relieved, since the news reported that everyone at The Stick were fine.

  11. I think the closest thing I've experienced to a natural disaster was just a real minor shaking in western NC(not getting any more specific than that! lol) back in the early 2010's(I think…)… I was just sitting on the couch at home then reading or something when I felt a light vibration that shook the area; enough to be just barely felt while at rest, but nothing damaged in the slightest… My guess would be that it was just between a 1 and a 2 on the Richter scale… I bet I was fairly far away from the epicenter, which was likely why it was so mild, though I bet others closer to it felt a stronger shaking than me… 😅 Wonder who else felt that back then…? Not entirely sure on the year; may've been either early 2010's or late 2000's. Pretty sure it was during the summer, though… 😉 Other than that, I've never been through anything even close to how bad those things were in this list. I frankly consider myself blessed! 😊

  12. Growing up in northern Illinois, we didn't think we were prone to sink holes. Strangely, a sink hole appeared in my hometown of St. Charles, IL back in 2013 and pulled a car down into it. Thankfully it was a parked car and no one was hurt.
Also just as strange, we've felt minor Earth quakes there as well. The Madras Fault line runs long the Mississippi river and minor Earth quakes have been known to be felt as far East as DuPage County, Il. Right next to Cook county, where Chicago is located.
Granted, none of these have ever caused major injuries or deaths but they're still really freaky in that area.

  13. I was in the 1964 Earthquake in Alaska. I was 10 years old at the time we were in Kodiak Alaska. Things were flying across the kitchen the people I was with put me under the dining room table as things flew around. I’m 70 years old now, I still can’t stand big bangs. When it hit it sounded like a sonic boom.

  14. I was in a training course for the US
Air Force in October to December 1969,
just 2 months after Hurricane Camille
hit the Mississippi Gulf Coast, to see
    some seacoast destruction. 😮
