These incredible pictures show two elephants engaged in a fight to display their dominance.
Photographers Laurent Renaud and Dominique Haution, both 62, of Douai, Northern France, captured the images at the Amboseli National Park in Kenya.
The scrap between the two males will determine the outcome for hierarchy in the herd.
Laurent said: “It’s very impressive to see the power of these animals, and these two boys are among the biggest tuskers in the park.

The one with shorter tusks was smart, he knew he could get injured and decided to live to fight another day.
Maybe in a year or 2 he will have grown enough to become dominant himself. He is surely smart and knows when to back off to preserve his own health.
