TOKYO, JAPAN – Today I’m in Tokyo along with my friend Abram, Ramen Beast (follow him: https://www.instagram.com/ramen_beast/). He’s eaten over 4,000 bowls of ramen across Japan and he’s taking us to 3 of his favorites in Tokyo. We’re in for some top level Japanese ramen today, and a nice variety of different styles and flavors.
Ramen is one of the ultimate Japanese foods to eat and something I love about it is there’s so much freedom and every ramen restaurant has its own unique character, personality, and style.
Places we went:
00:00 Intro
01:24 E-chan – Japanese Ramen
14:07 Aidaya – Japanese Tsukemen, Dipping Ramen
27:42 Shibuya Crossing
28:38 Lashowhan – Extreme Spicy Chinese Ramen
E-chan (えーちゃん食堂 https://maps.app.goo.gl/D7v3aPTPJGYqc3uTA) – Our first bowl of ramen was a class, good clean flavor broth with hand-made noodles. This spot only opens for breakfast and sells out in 2 – 3 hours. Price – 1,000 JPY ($6.22) per bowl
Aidaya (あいだや https://maps.app.goo.gl/GA9Urh7UXRMyDn4R6 ) – Next up on this ramen tour in Tokyo we’re eat tsukemen, the dipping style of ramen, and this place does it extraordinarily well. The sukiyaki wagyu was a bonus! Price – 2,300 JPY ($14.30) per set
Lashowhan (担々麺 ラーメン 辣椒漢 https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y4v9mwjt6Sx3aTSW7) – Finally, Beast takes me to eat an extremely spicy Chinese style dry ramen. Price – 1,100 JPY ($6.84) per bowl

This introduction is of a very average level

Handmade noodles using a machine? 🤔
Hi Mark and cheers to The Ramen Beast, I love the vibes in this video. Thank you for so many interesting facts about ramen. Really enjoyed it.

Awesome video!!!!
👍🏴
Mark, that guy doesn't know you too well when he asked you if you're ok with the level of spiciness
Slurping thing he said is spot on. You just go to town on the bowl!
Am I the only one who thinks he smiles too much lol
Very special ramen breast bro,it's look so so good and delicious
Just 7am and my belly is growling for Japan ramen that I've never even had 😂
My mouth's watering from watching this.
Yummy….
Ramen broth is divine but high in sodium. And high sodium diet can cause hair loss. Is that why Beast is …
I love ramen ❤❤❤
I love the energy, more series like this please
Your host is such a cool guy.
To be honest, Japan spicy level are just children level in southeast asia…
It's beautiful how you eat so hardy, Mark, and yet you're so skinny!
Been to Tokyo twice, both for hours not days as I was waiting for a connecting flight to/from Seoul. Will definitely say the ramen is just insane. Only making my own comes close, and I still fall well short. Not sure why US ramen is so inferior even when run by Japanese people. But it is.
Micah already grown I watch you video when he still baby.
Omg you were in Japan! I hope you had a good time here 🫶 and come back soon 🍣🍜🥟
I still remember that one time Mark ate the "Devil Level" bowl of ramen in Japan(not sure it was in Tokyo) and the food was so spicy that it threw him off to the point of leaving the restaurant still wearing the bib they gave him 😂😂
Yo thanks for the content mark!! Greetings from germany <3
Sounds like chef says level 5 spice powder is Bhut Jolokia chilli. Crazy hot.
you kinda look yunger mark!
Wonder if he has ever come across a place/ food that he didn't like?
4:36 I hate bamboo shoots 😡
