  1. Scary! Though I don't believe this to be legit. Like you said, the incident with the door.. I've never known any officer to ever rush a room like that without telling their partner or such things. Also the absence of shoulder department patches doesn't fill me with much confidence.

  2. 9:25
The way that officer is holding his flashlight and pistol, that's not the proper way to hold it, the slide is going to hit or bite his hand, and from what I could see, he doesn't even have a proper grip on that Glock

  3. I'm leaning on fake. The way his gun appears on bodyworn camera looks very FPS-like, as in the camera is placed on his head or is actually a helmet cam.

  4. To help you debunk this, if a video like this gets released, it's always by the public relations of the police department. And you can find the original post. Unfortunately I couldn't in my own research, which might lead this to becoming a possible hoax. Is it entertaining though? Yes. I think film makers should take notes from this random video that popped out of nowhere.

  5. The timing is pretty wild, I was just about to go to bed when I opened YouTube and saw your review. It's awesome that you're looking into this, but I remember this footage being debunked a while back when it first came out. I can't remember all the details people pointed out, but even the first time I watched it, it seemed suspicious. One thing that seemed off to me was the lack of radio chatter. At first, I thought maybe they were using earpieces, but you can still hear the radio going off here and there.

I think I've even heard the police radio chatter used here on YouTube as a free sound clip. Like you mentioned, their tactics and communication were super confusing. The Axon bodycam footage almost looks like it could be a fake or an overlay added on top of this video. There are other small things too, like why didn't the officers turn on the lights if they had flashlights out? The owner didn't mention there was no power, so that doesn't really make sense.

Just like you pointed out, it's also weird that the officer doesn't immediately start yelling commands at whoever might be behind the door. He didn't even warn his partner and instead just stood there, looking like he was hyperventilating or something, loudly at that as if it's exaggerated. A big giveaway for a lot of people is that there are no clothes in the closet, which suggests this might be an Airbnb property they're using to film. Plus, they don't really check under the beds or in other closets around the house. And to top it all off, the fake camera glitches are really obvious. You don't hear the old-school, trucker-style radio clicks anymore either,it all just sounds like "free police chatter sounds."

I'm sorry for not mentioning this sooner, but it's actually a short film. People have been trying to pass it off as real footage, but the original video is titled "The Bodycam Ghost | A Short Film by Julian Petit." If you'd like to look it up for yourself it's there, it even has the credits of the people involved in the description of the original.Great video Chris! I'd love to see more footage reviews from you!

  6. really just crazy seeing cops have a unexplainable moment like that you said that things of that nature have happened to you would love to hear about some of them
