  1. In terms of evaluating whether a person is safe to catch a ride from consider this…………… Some of the most famous serial killers were viewed as harmless and some were even thought of as pillars of their community!!!!!!!!!! One time I went off the road in a bad snowstorm. A beat-up truck with a sketchy-looking dude in it pulled alongside my truck and offered a hand. I was scared sh*tless as that area of NH is high in crime and drugs and he looked, to me at the time, to be one of those unsavory types. I was in the middle of nowhere, single, stuck in the ditch, in the middle of a raging snowstorm. I had a 50/50 chance of surviving so I risked letting him help me. Well, he not only helped me he made sure I got home safely then, like a true gentleman, asked me to have a better night and went on his way, never to be seen again!! He turned out to be my angel in disguise that night!! So yeah, it is very very difficult to judge who is good and who is bad. It is best if you have the ability, to just not accept rides or help from strangers at all!!

  2. Giles va jiles ik but i didnt name the county its like sumn takez thess ppl over here its been out of stage ppl come here and unalive or go tk hunt ppl its weird

  3. I'm a Cherokee who was born in the Appalachian Mountains on the side of a mountain.
My grandfather took me hunting and hiking up into the mountains all the time and we always carried guns with us, always.
Stuff happens in the Appalachians, it just does.
If you decide to go into the Appalachians be careful, and if you're trained, carry guns. If you're not trained, then don't go. You'll hurt yourself more than likely.
    Blessings to you all.

  4. Dear Stocktons and all that make this channel work. I wore my ladies pink Missing Persons shirt Tues. to the store and about 4 ppl stopped me. They had no idea about the story tellers on YouTube. But I told them you guys were not storytellers. That you help ppl whose loved ones who went missing in our parks like Yosemite and the like. And you guys care. I said give it a chance you will see. They took info from me. So hopefully we get more ppl. Ok Love ya all❤❤❤❤❤

  5. I CAN'T STAND the Warren's🤬. Yes the paranormal is VERY real, but the Warren's are, were, FAKES and LIARS. THEY harass families into making movies of their stories, most of what they talked about was MADE UP B.S. Funny how they have a "museum" of "cursed or possessed" objects, objects that just happen to be worth lots of money cuts they're antiques, never anything newer that could supposedly be possessed, FUCKING scammers.

  6. As a teenager at summer camp in the 70s, our group hiked a portion of the AT. When we went in Nixon, was President, when we reached the destination trailhead ten days later, we all learned that we had a new President, Gerald Ford. I will never forget my time on the Appalachian Trail.

  7. Please do more of the Appalachian videos. I enjoyed this one so much!! I'll have to compile all the info and stories I have and send you an email. ❤️

  8. I've been saying "wampus cat" my whole life. My mamaw always said it.. her mother was full blooded Cherokee. Makes so much sense now where that came from. 🤔

  9. Figures once those things sent to Washington DC was never seen again! Dose not surprise me one bit! All the politicians are crooked in one way or another. I like none of them!

  13. Thanx for another great clip about the trail , it seems to never stop taking people to the unknown, scary ,sad, and fascinating. It's the families my heart goes out to, the not knowing. P.s. ninja the cat swears up and down he could take down mothman. Lol

  14. I live in Texas and my ancestors from Mexico have the same superstitions especially the mirror being covered when someone dies. The more we think we are different we always find some way we are alike. I love the Appalachian culture and love the legends.
