Jeremy Kyle Show: Never-before-seen footage of a Jeremy Kyle Show guest who died days after appearing on the programme has been played at an inquest into his death. Steve Dymond, 63, from Portsmouth, is believed to have killed himself seven days after filming the Jeremy Kyle Show in May 2019.

Mr Kyle told Winchester Coroner’s Court that clips from the programme featuring the case of Mr Dymond and his partner, Jane Callaghan, showed he had “de-escalated… calmed it down”.

He also denied encouraging the audience to take against 63-year-old Mr Dymond, telling the inquest: “Not at all – I asked them to give them a round of applause.”

  1. Watching this video it is clear that Jeremy Kyle is responsible for this mans death. That was a gentle soul who fought to be on the show and was absolutely crushed by an evil man trying to get tv ratings. Disgusting.

  2. Netllix should make a new documentary on the toxicity of The Jeremy Kyle Show. Jeremy Kyle is nothing but a disgrace. Rest In Peace to Steve Dymond. He didn’t deserve to end his life after this horrible experience on the show.

  3. There is a reason officials don’t use lie detector tests. They are confirmed to not be 100% accurate as so many factors can alter the results. I always said even before this, some of the people who get caught on the lie detector seem legit shocked when they get caught lying. He could be lying he may not but using this method with is not accurate is a joke and has most likely ruined people on this show.

  4. She's as much to blame as Jeremy Kyle. She kept on and on at him for a lie detector test. He knew the show would give him one for free and he applied to keep her happy. Alongside that, she was obsessed with JK, having a tattoo of his name on her and, if you look at them backstage, she has NO tears in her eyes whereas, he clearly has. She wanted to be on the show and, now it's cost Steven his life she's playing the victim. It's disgusting.

  5. That guy was grown up adult responsible for his own actions and you blame everyone around but him. Nobody forced him to go there and publicly make clown out of himself, stop being such helpless snowflakes.

  6. No, the polygraph test isn't 60 percent accurate, I think you are greatly underestimating the accuracy of the best polygraph tests. It depends on how competent the examiner is. For example, Jack Trimarco was a former FBI special agent and he was a polygraph examiner for over 3000 polygraph exams, and he may have never made any mistake when testing. Lots of child molestors have been caught via the polygraph test on the Steve Wilkos show and the Dr. Phil show. If you don't think those polygraph tests on the Steve Wilkos and Dr. Phil show have a high level of accuracy, well that's your problem. Many highly qualified law enforcement officers used polygraph tests, sometimes for recruitment and sometimes to test prisoners, and they work most of the time, so it's clearly not a 60 percent accuracy level. Polygraph tests aren't junk science, they are not scams, I get annoyed when people dismiss polygraph tests like they are junk science. They measure bodily vital signs like heart rate and breathing and skin stuff that do often show when somebody is lying. Yes, polygraph tests aren't perfect…and yes polygraph examiners sometimes make mistakes…and yes, polygraph tests can only test physiological reactions but cannot actually test for lying directly…but most of the time, polygraph tests work and they do catch people who are lying most of the time. If the examiner cannot actually tell whether someone is lying or not, the examiner doesn't just make a guess…he calls the result as 'inconclusive' so it's fair to the participant. Drugs and medical conditions (like serious back pain) and pregnant women can give false results on polygraph tests, so those types of people aren't tested on polygraph tests. But for most healthy people with no medical conditions, polygraph tests do work, around 80 percent of the time…. maybe even 90 percent of the time with the best examiners.

  7. If Steve was not happy with the polygraph test, he could have taken a polygraph test in another place. There are many polygraph examiners across the country. There are some qualifications you need to achieve before becoming a properly certified polygraph examiner, so make sure you are going to one of them. There are scam polygraph examiners and real deal polygraph examiners. Sometimes the police do polygraph tests on some prisoners, even though polygraph tests are not admissible in a court of law as evidence. If Steve took drugs (like cannabis), then the drugs will alter the test. The polygraph test isn't perfect obviously. He chose to take the polygraph test without understanding how polygraph tests work.

  8. Steve chose to come on the show. Graham always had a great aftercare team. Steve did not make the most of Graham's aftercare. I know that polygraph tests are not admissible in court, and they can sometimes be tricked using countermeasures, but the best polygraph examiners never/rarely make mistakes e.g. Jack Trimarco (former FBI agent and polygraph examiner for over 3000 polygraph tests, he worked on the Dr. Phil show and probably never made a mistake). Steve should have done some research into lie detector tests before he came on the show. Lots of people who came on the show were scum of the Earth e.g. wife abusers and thieves and sexual abusers. Steve probably was not one of the bad people, but he should've been more wary before coming on the show.

  9. Bring back the Jeremy Kyle show, it was good fun. The Maury show, Jerry Springer show, Steve Wilkos show and Dr. Phil show were going strong, bring back the Jeremy Kyle show too.
