Well had they built the house on concrete piers instead of wood piers that house would still be standing and in great shape it’s all about the construction of the home spend a little more cash to have concrete piers just like the ones that support most bridges and your house will stay upright and strong in any storm,

These pillars looked pretty eaten up. So they must be broken for a while. I don’t know who builds a house INSIDE WATER where there’s constant waves slapping against that wood!
If it would have been build out of cement or materials used for piers it might have lasted longer

Need some better materials, better engineering, or just say HELL TO THE NAW and get up off the beach with your house. Man, its probably cool when theres no storms, but damn, these days is all about storms.
