  3. Thank goodness we have a socialist government that is going to help you by sending you aid paid for by our taxes. A GOP government would tell you to pull yourselves ip by your bootstraps, and expect you uo deal with your problems by yourself.

  8. We had a flood in 1959 in Newark, Ohio. I can remember people and what they call Little Texas having mud and water in their houses. Afterwards, my dad have a friend tear out the drywall and start rebuilding. I donโ€™t recall there being any federal funds to help, but I was pretty young. Everybody just pitched and did it.

  9. We were told 35 years ago that this was going to happen if we didn't start reducing the pollution. What did we do? Absolutely nothing. And you're surprised that this is happening?

  10. Is the National Guard helping? Has FEMA and the Red Cross been there yet? It seems like the Media isn't reporting very much on the devastation and so much loss of life.
I'm sorry…. it's horrible. It happened to my family years ago.

  12. This is awful but I saw one thing that really made my heart lift. The library is reported to be okay. That's something to hold on to. I can't imagine what these people are going through right now.โค
