Have an old pair of Army boots that I had when I was at bragg. To this day whenever I ware them my socks still come out red all these years later. It never goes away. Bricks and pottery clay are made from that mud.

We had a flood in 1959 in Newark, Ohio. I can remember people and what they call Little Texas having mud and water in their houses. Afterwards, my dad have a friend tear out the drywall and start rebuilding. I don’t recall there being any federal funds to help, but I was pretty young. Everybody just pitched and did it.
