  2. I think we need to ask what happened with the dams? We haven't heard much about that. We had 3 days of rain up in these mountains before Helene hit. Why didnt they release water days prior to this hurricane? A foot of rain water was forecasted over a week prior. I'm no engineer, but it stands to reason that you would want to make way for the additional water and attempt to maintain the damage as close to the natural rivers and waterways as possible. Complete towns were swept away like a tsunami. Reports of 7 to 10 feet of water raged through these towns. This area is 2000 feet above sea level.

  5. The power of nature alright but we all need to think about the climate now and there a lot of work and need blessing from people and God plus maybe he need to rethink or how for the coming weather in the future ,just pray and push forward.

  7. So sad. Please realize climate change is real and these storms will continue to get worse and be “epic,” but we can only say, “unexpected,” for so long.
