This cat had been abused and abandoned. Thankfully, a man found the cat and adopted him. And 3 years later, he has a message to the person who did this to his cat. He wants the person to know that the cat is alive and well. He believes that the person probably thought the cat wouldn’t survive.
They took the cat to see many vets at many animal hospitals. And the vets all said that the cat was likely born with healthy working legs but someone had been unkind to the poor cat. They gave the cat the best cat food they could afford and spent a lot of money trying to help the cat regain his ability to walk.
The cat however, hasn’t recovered fully from his injury so far. The cat loves going places with them. They didn’t want the cat to lose his ability to see the world just because of his disability.
They also successfully fatten the cat up from 3.4 kg to 8 kg. Now he’s in the healthy weight range. It’s hard to imagine that he was once a malnourished abused cat at the brink of death.
Do you think the man is a good cat owner? And do you hope to see the person who did this to the cat brought to justice?

My son found a very tiny kitten like that living in an abandoned car. He brought him home on a Friday. I told him we couldn’t keep the cat, but Anti Cruelty was closed for the weekend, so we would bring him in on Monday. By then we fell in love with him and named him Freddie Krueger. Even though he couldn’t walk, he got around! He would climb up the curtains to sit and the windowsill and sun himself.
